Hello. I'm a bit confused as to what is required for a precedent study. I feel as if I'm only presenting obvious info or stuff I've that I've got off the internet and books. As far as the model, I feel that my professor wouldn't accept only a mass model. Can you explain to me more what I should be looking in to? Thanks, I love this blog

read as many books as you can on the building you are studying. look for the main concept of the building. start diagramming- form, hierarchy, circulation, program, etc. the info you get is obvious and professors know this. the point of a precedent study is to see if you can figure out the main idea with the information given to you and how you interpret it.

for example i did the maison a bordeaux by rem koolhaas and his main concept was the strcuture of the home and how it was being held so i built this model
