hey, besides internships, what else can a first year architecture student do during the summer that will enrich his/her architectural knowledge? i wanted to visit Chicago and do all the various tours, but else is there really to do?

jothearchitect

you could buy architectural books and read more about architecture. learn about some of the noteable buildings in your area then go visit them. take art classes. take some required courses for next year like english or math and get it out of the way over the summer. etc.

any more ideas?
